THE LOGGING INDUSTRY’S VERSATILITY SPECIALIST
Forestry and mill operations often require a grapple capable of handling a variety of different types and volumes of wood. The Rotobec Combination Grapple features a bypassing jaw design that allows operators to easily and efficiently handle single logs or full cords of pulpwood. The unique jaw shape allows for optimal log rolling making it incredibly easy to grab a full load every time. Our Combination Grapples are also available with a positioned rotation which allows for an unbeatable level of control over your grapple and your load.
THE PERFECT CURVE
Our Combination Grapples feature the same jaw curvature used on our Pulpwood Grapple attachments. The unique design allows logs to easily roll along the inside face of the jaw, guaranteeing a full load each and every time.
FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS
Anyone can make a tough grapple, but we have taken it one step further. Our engineers have used a method called Finite Element Analysis in the design of our combination grapple, guaranteeing an optimal strength to weight ratio.
THE KING OF ROTATORS
WE’RE CALLED ROTO-BEC FOR A REASON
For the last 40 years, Rotobec has been pushing the boundaries of innovation in the world of rotator design. In addition to standard 3600 rotation and a fully supported pinion gear, all of our rotations are fully sealed, allowing them to be fully submersed in up to 15 feet of water.
BUILT IN-HOUSE CYLINDERS
Each Rotobec cylinder is designed, fabricated and assembled in-house to guarantee the absolute best quality. Our Combination Grapples come standard with our 5,000 psi (345 bar) high pressure cylinders, which offer exceptional closing force and an unbeatable level of durability.
Rotobec grapples simply last longer than others and the Combination Grapple is no exception. The SINGLE PIN DESIGN provides an increase in durability and a decrease in maintenance costs. The BOX-TINE structure increases durability and the MECHANICAL JAW STOPS protect your cylinders from over-extension when the jaws are in fully closed position.
In order to guarantee the quality and reliability of your heavy equipment, we proudly manufacture and assemble every major component of our grapples in-house, right here in North America. Each component is constructed of only the best quality materials available, and is built with one purpose: To outperform and outlast the competition.
SERVICE MADE SIMPLE
Our number one priority is your productivity. Machine downtime is a costly inconvenience and we have taken every measure to ensure that our customers experience as little of this as possible. Our expert team of service technicians are conveniently located all across North America and are dedicated to providing our customers with the best service in the business.
